Interobserver Reliability of Radiographic Angles and Measurements in Flat Foot Deformity

Category: Other Introduction/Purpose: Radiographic angles and measurements are widely used in foot ankle pathologies to define normal abnormal skeletal alignment. In spite of this the inter-observer reliability these parameters is debatable. The aim study was determine various radiographic flat deformity. Methods: Antero-posterior (AP) lateral radiographs 18 patients with flatfoot deformity were analysed by eight clinicians grade experience (2 consultants, 4 fellows / registrars 2 core training grades) 11 different radiological parameters. A digital presentation demonstrating method measurement all using same software provided participants. interclass correlation (ICC) model mixed for at 95% confidence interval individual experience. Results: excellent (>0.9) calcaneal pitch angle (CPA), medial cuneiform height (C1H) incongruency (LIA). It good (0.75 - 0.90) talo-navicular (TNA), articular (CAA), arch sag (MASA), 1st MT (C1MTA), talonavicular coverage (TNCA)andtalar on AP radiograph (T1MTA). moderate (0.5 0.75) Meary's uncoverage percentage (TNUP). did not differ surgeon sub-group analysis. Conclusion: This first analyse interobserver a deformity, including surgeon. results suggest that can be reliably clinical practice if standard techniques followed grades.
